Beneficiile laptelui matern: ce arată un nou studiu

A recent international study highlights the positive impact of breast milk components on infants' gut health, particularly in reducing antibiotic resistance genes. Conducted by the CSIC, the research indicates that exclusive breastfeeding is linked to lower levels of antimicrobial resistance genes in babies' intestines. Oligosaccharides in breast milk play a crucial role by nourishing beneficial gut bacteria and maintaining microbiota balance. These components are associated with a decrease in specific antibiotic resistance genes, suggesting that promoting breastfeeding could be an effective strategy for improving gut health during a critical developmental phase.
