Belgia impune purtarea obligatorie a căștilor pentru trotinetele electrice mai rapide

Belgium will mandate helmet use for electric scooter users exceeding 20 km/h starting September 1, as announced by the Federal Mobility Ministry. Helmets must protect the temples and neck, and the regulation targets scooters capable of speeds between 20 and 25 km/h. The decision is based on increasing evidence of serious injuries from electric scooter accidents, particularly head and brain injuries. Currently, only scooters with a maximum speed of 25 km/h are allowed on public roads in Belgium.
