Belarusul eliberează zeci de deținuți politici în urma negocierilor cu administrația Trump. Sancțiunile impuse Minskului ar urma să fie relaxate
Belarus released 25 prisoners following negotiations with U.S. envoy John Coale, who was tasked by President Trump to secure the release of political detainees. This release is part of ongoing discussions that began over a year ago. Coale expressed satisfaction with the outcome, although the number released is significantly lower than the 250 agreed upon in March. He plans to return to Belarus in a month to negotiate further releases. Among those freed is journalist Andrei Alyaksandrau, serving a 14-year sentence, and three musicians labeled as extremists. The U.S. also announced a relaxation of sanctions on two Belarusian companies.
