BEI alocă 100 de milioane de euro pentru construirea unei centrale solare de mare capacitate (1,3 GW) în România

The European Investment Bank is providing €100 million for the Dama Solar photovoltaic project in Arad, Romania, developed by Rezolv Energy. This large-scale facility will have a capacity of approximately 1.3 gigawatts and is part of a total investment of €728 million. Once operational, it is expected to supply enough electricity for over 280,000 households, benefiting nearly one million people. The project will also create around 1,500 jobs over the next three years and includes 82 hectares for environmental restoration. Additionally, it has secured two contracts for difference covering 520 MW for 15 years.
