BCR's Manea says lending could grow by 4-5% in 2027
Sergiu Manea, CEO of BCR, predicts a 4-5% growth in lending by 2027, emphasizing the need for stability and a budget focused on value creation. He suggests eliminating the turnover-based tax, which he views as outdated, and highlights the high proportion of rigid expenditures in the budget compared to tax revenues. Manea stresses the importance of legislative and fiscal stability for economic growth and indicates BCR's intention to legally challenge recent decisions by the Competition Council regarding ROBOR. He asserts that BCR has adhered to regulations and plans to contest the imposed measures.
