A 26-year-old man allegedly earned tens of thousands of euros over four years by selling images of child sexual abuse. The materials reportedly featured minors aged between one and 14 years. Investigators found that he used accounts registered under other people's names to receive payments. The investigation, conducted by the Târgu Mureș Organized Crime Brigade and DIICOT, revealed that he consistently acquired thousands of explicit images through online applications and distributed them, often for money. Authorities seized numerous SIM cards and bank cards during a search of his home in Tulcea. The suspect is under investigation for child pornography but remains presumed innocent.
