The ProRapid sports complex in Sector 1 of Bucharest is set for modernization following the mayor's approval for construction. The project, discussed with Rapid Bucharest Sports Club, includes refurbishing the rugby field and building a multisport area. Plans also consider adding facilities for padel, volleyball, and football. Mayor George Tuță emphasized the importance of making ProRapid a vibrant space for children and sports enthusiasts, alongside a promenade for local residents. The complex, previously in disrepair, aims to serve both athletes and the community.
