A 58-year-old man, driving an unregistered ATV without a license and under the influence of alcohol, overturned the vehicle in Popești, injuring himself and a 5-year-old passenger. Both were hospitalized with injuries. The incident occurred on August 1, and police investigations revealed the driver had a blood alcohol level of 0.66 mg/l. The ATV was reportedly entrusted to him by a 28-year-old local, who knew he lacked a license and later tampered with the accident scene. Investigations are ongoing for multiple offenses, including bodily harm and driving under the influence.
