Bastionul Crăişor din Cetatea Oradea, reabilitat cu 18 milioane de lei prin PNRR, intră în circuitul turistic

The Crăişor Bastion in Oradea has been restored with an investment of approximately 18 million lei, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The project, which received around 10 million lei in European funds, will enhance the city's tourism starting next month. Mayor Florin Birta highlighted the significant impact of European investments on the fortress's transformation over the past two decades. The restoration included extensive archaeological work, revealing historical artifacts and ensuring proper drainage. Future rehabilitation plans for other bastions are underway, with the municipality seeking additional European funding.
