Băsescu îl critică pe Bolojan: a greșit fundamental politica de ieșire din criză prin creșterea taxelor

Former President Traian Băsescu criticized interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan for his approach to reducing the budget deficit, arguing that increasing taxes instead of cutting state spending is a fundamental mistake. Băsescu warned that Romania is heading towards bankruptcy and labeled Bolojan's fiscal policy as detrimental to recovery. He emphasized that the focus should be on reducing public sector expenses, particularly bonuses for public employees. Băsescu also condemned Bolojan's support for a technocratic government, claiming it hinders political solutions during the ongoing political crisis. Romania has been without a full government since May 5, following a no-confidence vote against Bolojan's cabinet.
