Băsescu, despre starea de alertă anunțată de Guvern: „Am ajuns aici cu niște panarame de miniștri. Numai papițoi la Energie”

Former President Traian Băsescu criticized the Romanian government's handling of the energy crisis, emphasizing the risks to the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant. He urged President Nicușor Dan to take a public stance on the situation, particularly regarding the low water levels in the Danube affecting energy production. Băsescu condemned the lack of investment and effective leadership in the energy sector, referring to past ministers as ineffective. The government has declared a state of alert due to reduced energy production caused by drought, with one reactor already shut down and concerns about the second. This could lead to significant energy imports to maintain balance in the national grid.
