Barurile unde se urmăresc exclusiv meciuri feminine. Fenomenul care începe să se extindă și în Europa
A new trend is emerging in the U.S. and Europe with venues showcasing women's sports prominently. This shift is driven by increasing interest in women's sports and the lack of coverage in traditional sports bars. An example is "The 11" in Brussels, which aired the Women's Basketball World Cup and attracted a diverse audience. Founders Maeva Gaudin and Juliana Betancur are considering making it a permanent venue due to its success. Since 2022, around 25 similar establishments have opened, including "The Sports Bra" in Portland and "A Bar of Their Own" in Minneapolis, which also supports female athletes. Despite challenges in broadcasting women's events, networks are expanding their coverage, and the demand for communal viewing spaces is growing as audiences increase.
