Barca feminină de 8+1 a stabilit un nou record la CE de canotaj

The Romanian women's 8+1 rowing team set a new record at the European Championships in Varese, Italy, with a time of 5:49.79. This time surpassed the previous record held by the Netherlands and was faster than the current World Best Time. The men's team also excelled, winning their preliminary race. Other Romanian crews qualified for finals in various categories, showcasing the country's strength in rowing. Notably, Bianca-Camelia Ifteni advanced to the semifinals in single sculls, while Mihai Chiruţă also reached the semifinals in the men's category. Cristian Alexandru will compete in final B for para rowing.
