Romania's women's 8+1 rowing team won the world title in Amsterdam, setting a new world record with a time of 5:51.88. The team had a strong start and maintained their lead despite pressure from Great Britain. Simona Radiș made history by winning two gold medals at three consecutive World Championships. The men's team finished 7th after winning Final B against New Zealand. Additionally, Radiș and Adriana Adam secured gold in the double sculls event.
