He was wanted under an international arrest warrant for homicide. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, was found dead in a suitcase floating in the river, with forensic experts determining she died from blunt force trauma. The suspect turned himself in at a police station in Saint Gallen, Switzerland, and is currently in custody awaiting extradition to Romania.
