A man from Sadu, arrested for throwing a dog into a river, has been released after a day in custody. The 47-year-old was charged with animal cruelty after a witness reported the incident. He had placed a puppy in a bag, tied it, and discarded it from a bridge. Authorities apprehended him quickly, but prosecutors allowed him to be investigated while free. The rescued dog is now under the care of an animal protection association.
