Bărbații peste 55 de ani din Danemarca nu mai au acces la tratamente de fertilitate în spitalele publice

In Denmark, men over 55 will no longer have access to public fertility treatments, as announced by the Danish Regions organization. This regulation requires men to seek fertility treatment before turning 55, with all treatment options ceasing at 56. The measure aims to reduce health risks for children associated with older fathers. Previously, only women faced age limits for assisted reproduction, needing to start treatment by age 40. Denmark is among the first countries to impose such a limit on men. According to the WHO, one in six people globally experiences infertility, and in Denmark, one in nine children is born through fertility treatment.
