The total alleged damage amounts to approximately 171,500 lei, with 109 fraudulent acts identified. The investigation began in 2022 following a report from a victim who was misled by the accused. Evidence suggests the man used deceptive means to simulate a severe health condition and created the illusion of being hospitalized. Victims were convinced to make numerous financial transactions, totaling over 132,000 lei, based on his fabricated medical needs. The case is now in court.
