Bărbat plasat sub control judiciar pentru trafic de influență

A man has been placed under judicial control for influence peddling, suspected of claiming to have connections with a military general to facilitate transfers between military units. Prosecutors initiated legal action against B.P.B. for three counts of influence trafficking. He allegedly received 13,000 lei from an individual, promising to influence a commission regarding a military transfer. Additionally, he claimed to have influence over a general and received 160,000 lei for facilitating a military promotion without proper procedures. In 2021, he also took 15,000 euros from a father and son, assuring them of his influence in a job placement. While under judicial control, he must comply with specific obligations, including not leaving Romania and avoiding contact with certain individuals.
