A man from Râșnov has been placed in preventive arrest after allegedly assaulting and threatening his wife out of jealousy. Police were notified on September 11 about the physical aggression that occurred on September 10 and 11. The 53-year-old man reportedly caused physical harm and instilled fear in his wife. Following the incident, authorities issued a temporary protection order and opened a criminal case for domestic violence and threats. The woman agreed to electronic monitoring of the suspect, who was detained for 24 hours before being formally arrested for 30 days by the court.
