A 51-year-old man from Alba has been charged with rape and sexual assault against a 12-year-old girl. The case has been brought to court after police involvement. The accused is currently in preventive detention, with the trial set to take place at the Blaj Court. Prosecutors revealed that the man, known to the victim's family, repeatedly lured her to his home, where he committed sexual acts. He also engaged in sexual relations with her after she turned 13, despite knowing her age and attempting to bribe her with money. The preventive detention has been extended until mid-October 2026.
