A man from Botoșani is under investigation for conducting illegal lotteries on social media. Police executed a search warrant at his residence, suspecting him of operating unauthorized gambling activities. Between July and August, he allegedly organized online lotteries, charging participants 200 lei for tickets and offering cash and vehicles as prizes. During the search, authorities seized over 200,000 lei and a vehicle related to the lottery.
