A 65-year-old man in Gorj has been detained for allegedly drowning two kittens by placing them in a bag with a stone and submerging it in water. The incident is under investigation by the Animal Protection Bureau, with the kittens' bodies sent for necropsy. The man was arrested for 24 hours and is being held at the Gorj Police Detention Center while further inquiries are conducted under the supervision of the local prosecutor's office.
