The Ministry of Environment and the National Administration 'Apele Române' announced significant investments for protected communities, including the nearly completed Pârcovaci dam. This project, valued at 36.38 million lei, is 95% finished and aims to enhance safety and modernize various dam components. The Pârcovaci reservoir is crucial for water supply in Hârlău and plays a vital role in flood protection for thousands of residents and infrastructure. Built in 1983, it has a flood attenuation capacity of 4.909 million m³.
