Cristian Bușoi announced a review of barriers preventing access to a financial aid scheme for vulnerable households. Only 740,000 out of an estimated 2.1 million eligible households have received the aid. Bușoi emphasized the need for evaluation and potential expansion of the program, as many may be unaware of it. The scheme, which provides 50 lei for electricity bills, has been in place for 13 months and is set to continue until the end of the year. The initial goal was to support approximately 3.5 million people, but participation has been lower than expected.
