The interim Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, announced that all reimbursements for nine projects aimed at modernizing spa resorts have been fully paid, totaling over 6 million lei. These funds support investments exceeding 12 million lei, covering medical equipment, treatment facilities, and accommodation upgrades. Darău emphasized the need for modern infrastructure to enhance service quality and attract tourism. He highlighted Romania's unique natural resources and the importance of ensuring local communities benefit from these investments. Plans to modify the funding scheme and digitize procedures were also mentioned to reduce bureaucracy for investors.
