The program aims to assist producers facing high costs and import pressures. The application process will be quick, allowing support to be granted before harvest. Farmers must cultivate at least 0.3 hectares and produce a minimum of 12 tons per hectare to qualify. Verification of crops will occur before harvest, and payments are scheduled by December 22, 2026. The Minister emphasized the need for more substantial support for farmers.
