The total aid varies: those earning up to 1,500 lei receive 1,000 lei annually, while those earning between 1,501 and 2,000 lei get 800 lei, and those between 2,001 and 3,000 lei receive 600 lei. Changes in income may affect eligibility for the December payment, and certain income types are excluded from the 3,000 lei limit. The aid is funded by the state budget and requires beneficiaries to reside in Romania.
