Beekeepers may receive increased support in 2026 as the Ministry of Agriculture outlines a project for reallocating funds for the apiculture sector. The project aims to provide necessary payments to eligible beneficiaries, with over 359,000 euros being redistributed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund. The funds will be allocated for purchasing bee families, queens, and beekeeping equipment. Payments are expected to be made by October 15, 2026, following the approval of the ordinance. The project also establishes unit amounts for calculating payments based on eligible expenses.
