The Puppet Theater "Prichindel" in Alba Iulia is among several institutions receiving government funding. A total of 142,768,056.58 lei has been allocated to 75 cultural institutions across 34 counties, aimed at supporting local theaters and orchestras that lack state funding. The funds come from 2% of income tax collected between June and August 2026, with allocations based on requests from local authorities. The Puppet Theater "Prichindel" will receive 759,595.30 lei as part of this initiative.
