Banca Transilvania a atras 500 de milioane de euro de pe pieţele internaţionale, printr-o emisiune de obligaţiuni subordonate

Banca Transilvania successfully raised 500 million euros through a bond issuance, attracting nearly 2 billion euros in orders. The subordinated bonds have a yield of 6.216% and a fixed coupon of 6.122%, maturing in 2037. This marks the bank's first international subordinated bond issuance, aimed at diversifying its funding base. Over 100 institutional investors from 30 countries participated, with significant interest from Europe, the UK, the US, and Asia. The issuance was coordinated by major investment banks, and since the start of 2023, the bank has raised approximately 4.5 billion euros through eight bond issuances, solidifying its position as a leading issuer in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe.
