Banca Naţională a României lansează o bancnotă aniversară pentru colecţionare, dedicată lui Eugeniu Carada, întemeietorul BNR

The National Bank of Romania will issue a commemorative banknote dedicated to Eugeniu Carada on September 14, 2026, marking his 190th birthday. The banknote, valued at 100 lei, will be sold for 240 lei and features a polymer design with various artistic elements. A special sheet containing four banknotes will also be available for 840 lei. The total print run includes 16,000 individual banknotes and 1,000 special sheets. Sales will begin on September 15, 2026, at several regional branches of the bank.
