Banca Mondială vede economia României în contracție. AUR cere schimbarea direcției și pune pe masă trei măsuri
The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) believes that the World Bank's revised forecast for Romania indicates a need for a change in economic direction. They propose three measures to stimulate the economy: simplifying access to EU and government funds for SMEs, prioritizing investments in critical infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and reindustrialization, and introducing flexible financing schemes for local businesses. AUR emphasizes the importance of transforming available funds into investments that create jobs and value in Romania, rejecting tax increases and austerity measures. The World Bank's report highlights a projected economic contraction of 0.5% for Romania this year, influenced by fiscal consolidation and rising energy costs, but anticipates a recovery in the following years.
