Banca Mondială şi FMI sprijină modificarea cadrului privind sustenabilitatea datoriei
The World Bank and IMF have approved reforms to the debt sustainability framework for low-income countries, reflecting a more complex risk environment. The first review since 2017 includes better internal debt analysis and long-term development challenges, such as climate change. These reforms aim to enhance risk assessment and introduce new tools for evaluating debt sustainability. The institutions will improve evaluation instruments and implement stress tests to ensure accurate forecasts, promoting data transparency. The changes are expected to be operational by the second half of 2027.
