Banca Mondială negociază ajutoare de criză cu până la 40 de ţări afectate de războiul din Orientul Mijlociu şi scumpirea energiei
The World Bank is in discussions with 30 to 40 countries for emergency financial assistance due to rising energy prices and economic shocks from the Middle East conflict. President Ajay Banga highlighted increasing pressures on developing economies from high diesel and fertilizer costs, elevated interest rates, and the potential impact of a severe El Niño. Despite a resilient global economy, the need for funding may rise, with countries expected to request a portion of the initial $50-60 billion available. The World Bank has mobilized a record $112 billion in private capital, with significant investments in middle-income countries, while low-income nations continue to face challenges in accessing private funding. New initiatives are planned to ease debt burdens and enhance access to private capital for small enterprises.
