Banca Mondială discută cu 30-40 de țări despre criza mondială care se anunță: „Trebuie să-ți faci palton cu materialul pe care îl ai”

The World Bank is in talks with 30-40 countries regarding crisis assistance to manage energy shocks and price increases due to the Middle East conflict. President Ajay Banga noted that the global economy remains resilient, partly due to AI investments. However, rising diesel and fertilizer prices, along with the impending 'super El Niño', are straining developing nations. Many countries are expected to request aid in the coming months, with potential access to $50-60 billion. Banga indicated that the World Bank could provide up to $100 billion if conditions worsen, surpassing pandemic support. The Bank has also secured a record $112 billion from private capital, emphasizing the need to utilize available resources effectively.
