Banca Europeană pentru Reconstrucţie şi Dezvoltare finanţează cu până la 25 milioane euro electrificarea terminalului de containere Constanţa Sud

DP World and the EBRD have signed a loan agreement of up to €25 million for the electrification of the Constanța Sud Container Terminal. This financing is the first green loan for the terminal and is part of a €100 million investment program aimed at reducing CO2 emissions by over 6,000 tons annually. The project will replace outdated diesel equipment with electric alternatives and improve air quality and operational reliability. It includes EU and Romanian state grants, with a total investment covering infrastructure and electric equipment. This initiative will enhance Constanța's role as a strategic logistics hub in the Black Sea region.
