Banca de Țesuturi de la Colentina ar putea stoca membrane amniotice. Cum pot ajuta pacienții cu arsuri grave
Dr. Andrei Nica announced that the new Tissue Bank at Colentina Hospital will process and store amniotic membranes, particularly from cesarean births, useful for treating severe burns. The facility is complete and awaits staff training, requiring 29 employees, including medical professionals. The 14th Romtransplant Congress in Cluj-Napoca emphasizes tissue transplantation, featuring a training course with Spanish experts. The new bank aims to enhance tissue transplant capabilities, offering more therapeutic options for orthopedic patients. Currently, the old bank only stores osteo-tendinous tissue, which is distributed to accredited hospitals for transplant.
