Banca Centrală a Ţărilor de Jos a transferat în Marea Britanie 86 de tone de aur din rezerervele sale din SUA și Canada - Economica.net

The Dutch Central Bank (DNB) has transferred 86 tons of gold reserves from the US and Canada to London, citing increased geopolitical instability. This move represents nearly one-third of DNB's gold held in New York and Ottawa. The transfer was executed through a combination of buying, selling, and physical transport of gold. DNB aims to enhance the negotiability of Dutch gold, allowing for quicker mobilization during crises. By the end of 2025, the Netherlands' total gold reserves amounted to 612.4 tons, valued at 72.2 billion euros. London now holds the largest share of these reserves, improving DNB's crisis preparedness.
