Kommunalkredit Austria AG has provided a €50.63 million loan for refinancing the Ruginoasa onshore wind farm, which has a capacity of 60 MW and is operated by DTEK's renewable energy division. This refinancing will facilitate the project's transition from construction to operational phase, supported by improved financing conditions. The wind farm, consisting of ten Vestas turbines, is expected to generate renewable energy for over 30 years, contributing to Romania's energy transition and long-term energy security. Dentons provided legal assistance throughout the transaction, highlighting the growing interest of international financiers in high-quality operational assets in Romania.
