Băluță: Restricțiile de trafic din Piața Unirii vor fi ridicate începând de luni

Traffic restrictions in Unirii Square will be lifted starting Monday morning, as announced by Sector 4 Mayor Daniel Băluță. This decision coincides with the new school year, and the mayor believes traffic will return to normal levels. Băluță praised the construction team's efficiency, stating that significant works can be completed faster than expected. The project involved replacing a nearly 100-year-old deteriorated slab with a new, safe structure. Future work will focus on completing the new slab by the end of the year and restoring the fountains in the square. Additionally, a new access route to the metro stations is planned, ensuring minimal disruption to traffic and pedestrian flow.
