Daniel Băluță, the president of PSD Bucharest, criticizes the decision to suspend financial support for adults with disabilities until November 2030. He argues that such measures harm vulnerable individuals. The suspension was approved by the General Council of the Capital, initiated by PNL's Andrei Badiu, to address the city's debts. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu stated that the municipality owes nearly 690 million lei in unpaid aid. Băluță emphasizes that support for disabled individuals and their families is essential and should not be seen as a dispensable expense. He insists that a city's development should also focus on its vulnerable population.
