The Ministry of Education has proposed new calendars for the national exams in 2027, currently under public consultation. The Bacalaureat exams may be held earlier due to extreme summer temperatures affecting candidates' performance. Proposed dates include competence tests from April 12-23 and written exams from June 14-18, with results announced by July 1. The National Evaluation for eighth graders is suggested for June 22-25, with simulations in March. New evaluation rules are also proposed, including automatic re-evaluation for significant score discrepancies.
