Over 33,000 high school graduates are participating in the autumn 2026 Bacalaureat exam, starting with Romanian language tests. The Ministry of Education will publish the exam topics and grading criteria after the test. The exam consists of three parts, including text analysis and essay writing. Results will be announced on August 18, with opportunities for candidates to review their work and submit appeals. Previous summer exam topics included literary analysis and argumentative writing.
