While rejecting the cabinet could prolong political instability, Ciobotaru warns that supporting it may lead to more severe long-term consequences. Discontent is reportedly widespread among other PNL members as well, especially after the party previously declined to back a cabinet led by Adrian Veștea. The vote for the new government is scheduled for October 20.
