B1TV: Avertisment dur de la Mugur Isărescu: BNR majorează prognoza de inflație. Puterea de cumpărare scade • Newsweek România

The National Bank of Romania has raised its inflation forecast due to unfavorable price developments, indicating a decline in purchasing power. Governor Mugur Isărescu warned that while inflation may decrease, price pressures remain, and household credit is stagnating. The bank's revised forecast for inflation at the end of 2026 is now 5.5%, up from 3.9%. Despite expectations for a significant reduction in annual inflation rates, inflationary pressures have not been fully alleviated.
