Avram Iancu, după reuşita pe Canalul Mânecii: Cel mai greu şi dificil înot din carieră

Avram Iancu successfully swam across the English Channel in breaststroke, becoming the first Romanian to achieve this feat. He described the experience as extremely challenging, lasting 24 hours and 46 minutes. Iancu is now among the top ten men worldwide to complete this swim in breaststroke, marking a significant achievement after an 11-year gap in such performances. This swim also commemorated his 50th birthday. Iancu has a history of open water swimming achievements, including previous crossings of the Channel in freestyle and other notable swims in various rivers.
