Avocatul lui Viorel Pașca, despre motivarea „zdrobitoare” a Curții de Apel București pentru respingerea arestării preventive: „O adevărată lecție de drept”

Răzvan Doseanu, the lawyer for Viorel Pașca, revealed the reasons why the Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected the DIICOT's request for preventive arrest of Pașca and his family. He argued that the court found no evidence supporting the charges of organized crime and human trafficking. Doseanu emphasized that the alleged exploitation of individuals in their care was unfounded, as residents could leave at any time. Financial analyses showed insufficient income for profit, and medical witnesses confirmed regular care for the residents. The court also noted that administrative actions taken by Pașca were legal necessities, not indicators of trafficking. Ultimately, without solid evidence for trafficking, the organized crime charge was also dismissed.
