Avertismentul unui doctor: „Sunt prea mulţi medici stomatologi. Este o politică greşită, care duce la şomaj”

A dental expert warns that Romania has an oversupply of dentists, leading to potential unemployment and quality issues in training. Despite high enrollment in dental schools, the job market cannot accommodate all graduates. Dr. Octavian Făgăraș criticizes the rapid increase in dental programs without a strategic plan, resulting in poorly prepared professionals. He suggests reducing the number of dental school admissions to address these challenges. Currently, Romania has about 25,000 active dentists, one for every 735 residents, compared to the EU average of one for 1,230.
