She emphasized that European countries are directly involved in the conflict by providing military and logistical support to Ukraine, thus losing their status as non-belligerent nations. Zakharova's comments were in response to questions about Poland's willingness to host a factory for Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. Russia's dissatisfaction particularly concerns the supply of advanced technologies for long-range Storm Shadow missiles and agreements allowing Ukraine to develop its own drone and missile production with Western assistance. Recently, Russia has broadened its definition of legitimate targets, warning that any foreign military presence in Ukraine would be seen as a direct military threat.
